We are in the midst of a revolution. A movement of which will forever change the trajectory of humankind. Collectively, we face a shift in consciousness, in the awareness of the human mind that has the potential to change the world. Far too long have we live our lives, defining ourselves by the external circumstances around us. Through the process of this revolution, we will come to know the truth-that we determine in the world via our consciousness and perspective. That we, collectively, determine the workings of our world within and without.
When we look at the dynamics of a revolution, we see moments in time that alter the course of history. The power of these occurrences, the profundity of the circumstances shift the energy in such as way that things as they were before and after are drastically different. This is what where we stand now - at the cusp of forever changing life as we know it. In the midst of this monumental shift in consciousness that which we have know cannot be as it was. We must face a force that galvanizes the mass, a common unifying agent that creates of movement within the people. Sound familiar?
As simple as this seems, the challenge is keeping perspective in the midst of 'chaos'. How responsible are we when we face this force? Do we look to defy and resist or to focus on our energies on creating more in life. More love, rather than hate. More wisdom rather than anger. You see a revolution means that we gather together, collectively, to create something new. Gandhi did not vehemently fight the British, rather he stood for the liberty of his people. Martin Luther King Jr was not motivated by his hate of white men, rather by the love of his brothers and sister and the power of equality.
Your thoughts matter, as do mine. So my question in moving through the experience of this revolution is this: from the chaos, what level of consciousness will we create?
